1 Printed Formal Shirt-9 Ways To Wear It (Formal, Casual and Party Styling Options)

As you already know, I am a sucker for sustainable fashion. Why pollute the planet and cause unnecessary damage when you can reuse what you already have in your wardrobe and spin new looks out of them? I am sure you agree to it. As the title suggests, today I am going to take 1 printed formal shirt from my wardrobe and create 9 new looks out of it (not the usual ‘tuck it in your formal pants' look). Keep reading!

1.The Off-Shoulder Route:

Many of us own that one formal shirt with that gorgeous print on it that we want to wear to places other than office, but sadly don’t how to tweak it to look casual enough for a day out :( Go the off -shoulder route! Will it stay secure in place you ask me? It will. Just take a well fitted shirt (Even better if it is slightly stretchable). For extra security, you can add double sided tape if you want! So ladies, show off your collar bones and get all that attention you so deserve ;)

2. The One-Shoulder Route:

For those beauties who are not really comfortable with off shoulders, try the one-shoulder option! Wear one sleeve of the shirt as you would. Take the other sleeve and turn it inwards. You can tuck it into your pants/skirt so that it remains secure in place. This look screams glamorous. You are sure to make heads turn!

3.Reverse it up:

Turn the back of the shirt so that it now faces the front. Tuck the collar in/pin it inwards if you want. Do up the buttons at the back. You now have a stylish top with a V-neck at the back! Looks so high on style at absolutely no extra cost!

4. Use those gorgeous tube tops:

We all have those gorgeous tube tops that we don’t get much use of apart from beach holidays or that one fancy party or date. Layer it over your shirts! This is definitely experimental but I am sure many of you guys can pull it off. The best thing is you can even wear it to office! Tuck the tube top into your formal pants for a better body shape and be ready to look like a boss babe!

5.As a crop top/saree blouse:

Remember point number 3 where you had reversed your gorgeous shirt? Now fold it and tuck into your innerwear. It is 100% secure (won’t fall out), you can trust me on this. I was skeptical until I tried but now there is no looking back. You have your brand new crop top! Even better, you don’t need to stitch any saree blouses any more. The neckline looks so sophisticated…I am in love!

6. Pair it with your Jumpsuit:

Layer it under/over your monochrome jumpsuits to attend those business meetings in style! Pair it up with a nice pair of heels. This look is perfect for office. You can keep your hair down and switch up your accessories for a more laid-back/casual look. You can even wear your shirt over your jumpsuit and tie a knot/bow in front if you want to hide that little bit of tummy fat.

7. The Casual Look:

Wear your favorite self colored tee shirt inside and layer your printed shirt outside.Add a comfy pair of sneakers.This is a no-fuss look for when you want to travel,or just grab a cup of coffee and read a good book at your nearest café.

8. Vintage Vibe:

Bring back the 70's vibe (Dimple Kapadia in ‘Bobby’) with this look. This look is certainly risqué and not for the faint-hearted, but I am sure there is someone out there who can own and rock this style! Especially now when old trends are making a strong comeback, stay a step ahead in the style game and show off those abs girl!

9. Layer it with bodycon dresses:

Absolutely love those gorgeous bodycons but conscious about arm fat/tummy fat? The solution is right there in your closet. Yes, you guessed it right! Just tie your printed shirt over your dress and wear it without a worry in the world :)
